Libraries / Festivals / Events

We love our libraries!

Each session can be tailored to YOUR event! We work brilliantly with tiny tots to adults and we can bring any theme to life. We regular work together in library festivals and schools reading weeks so we are used to working with a mix of ages and abilities including SEND. We are very flexible and accommodating. For example, we can do shorter sessions with KS1 or longer ones with older children.

Grown-ups often worry about their children being able to sit for 45 minutes but we have a unique hypnotic quality that even keeps the wriggliest of kids enthralled!

What happens on the day?

Once you’ve made a booking, we will arrange session times that suit your needs. In libraries, we often do 3 x 60 mins session in a visit.

For example,
9.30am – 10.30am
11.00am-12.00pm
1.30pm – 2.30pm
in the same venue

Alternatively we can visit two separate venues;
Two x 90 mins sessions
10.30am – 12.00pm
1.30pm – 3.00pm
We’ll need time in between session to travel and set up. We can work with the size of your venue. We are very low tech and all we require is a table for Liz and a cuppa for Paul.

The sessions are a riot of laughter, learning and creativity.

Paul has the crowds bopping along to his witty, fast paced poetry whilst strumming away on his trusty ukulele.

Meanwhile, Liz captivates the audience by drawing amazing pictures to match the poems being performed. You won’t know who to watch!

WARNING! Audience participation is non negotiable. May contain ukuleles!
